It is with great sadness we pass on the news that our foundation professor, Emeritus Professor Barry Boettcher has passed away.
His funeral will be held at Pettigrews Family Funerals, 444 Pacific Highway; Belmont; NSW 2280 at 12:30 pm on Friday 10th of May 2024.
ABOUT
It's 50 years ago this year that the Department of Biological Sciences was established at the University of Newcastle. We would like to commemorate this day and the many achievements and events that have happened since then.
Come and join us to relive some of the memories, see old friends and learn about the history of Biological Sciences and the great work done by our graduates since it all began in 1973.
